Custom Jewelry

What if I’m interested in learning more about a custom piece but I'm not sure I want to commit to purchasing?

Open tab

Currently, I am able to hold free consultations with zero commitment to purchase. I don’t mind taking the time to explain the process, go over options and pricing even if you’re not sure you will want to move forward.

How much does a custom piece of jewelry cost?

Open tab

Due to time & creative energy involved in making a custom piece, it will cost more than an already designed piece from my collection. However, every job is vastly different and it is impossible to say without knowing more about the project, materials and complexity. Some simple projects may be within a few hundred dollars while most jobs generally start around $1000 and go up from there.

What if I have a lower budget, but still want something custom?

Open tab

Any item from my online store can be customized just for you! I can set a different stone, change a setting, add more elements, change up the chain, and so much more. There are many options that will make one of my pieces special just for you and cost less than creating a new piece from scratch.

How long will it take to create my custom piece?

Open tab

Each piece will have a different production time, but most custom projects take 4-8 weeks. More complex projects may take longer. Some simpler projects that don’t involve wax carving may only take a couple weeks.

How does payment for custom jewelry work?

Open tab

Once a design is chosen, I require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining balance is then due before delivery of your finished piece.

Do you work with customer’s stones?

Open tab

At this time, I do not work with customer provided stones.

Sizing

What if I don’t know my ring size?

Open tab

You can always stop by your local jewelry store and have them measure your ring size. This is the most accurate option and what I recommend. If your unable to stop by a local jewelry store, there are inexpensive ring sizing tools available online that will give you semi-accurate results.

What can I do if I order a ring and it doesn’t fit?

Open tab

Most rings can be resized within a reasonable range after purchase. I offer one free ring resizing within 60 days of receiving your order. The customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways. After this time frame, I am happy to resize your ring for a $25-$50 fee (depending on the ring) plus shipping.

How do I know which necklace length is right for me?

Open tab

Most of my necklaces are offered in a few different lengths. To determine which is best for you -- take a piece of string and cut it to the longest length offered. Hold it up to your neck with the ends touching and see how it looks. If it seems too long, trim to the next length offered and see if it's a better fit.
